Html Tags
Learn most of the major HTML tags here and memorize them they will help you later on.
Html, Head, Body Tags
The first and most important tags i will tell you about are the html, head, and body tags these three create and layout an html document. The html and body tags are ALWAYS required to create an html page.
The html tag is made like this: <html></html> The head tag is made like this: <head></head> The body tag is made like this: <body></body> |

Bold, Header, and Paragraph Tags
The next html tags i will tell you about are the bold, header, and paragraph tags.
The bold tag is made like this: <b>this text would be made bold</b> The header tag is made like this: <h1>Header</h1> the header tag can be sized from one to six with six being the smallest and one being the largest size. The paragraph tag is made like this: <p>paragraph here</p> |

Horizontal Line and Line Break Tags
Two very simple tags are the line break and horizontal line tags they have no closing tags and are written like this.
A line break is <br/> it is like hitting enter on ur keyboard. A horizontal line is written like this <hr/> its function is just a simple straight line. |
Headingthis is a simple line break right herethis new line was created because of an invisible line break previously and this is a double break followed by a horizontal line |
Anchor and Image Tags
Some other important HTML tags are the image and anchor tags the image tag is special in that it doesn't need a closing tag.
An anchor tag creates a link to a website and uses this format:<a href="http://website.com"> LINK HERE </a> The image tag is setup like this: <img src="http://imageurl.com"/> |

Table Tags
Another important set of HTML tags to know are the table tags. The table tags organize data into readable blocks.
A table is created by first using the <table> </table> tags A table is divided in rows by the table row <tr></tr> tags. Each row is divided into data cells by the table data <td></td> a data cell can hold images, paragraphs, forms, more tables, etc.. A table is layed out like below: <table> <tr> <td> Table Data Goes Here </td> </tr> </table> |

Ordered, Unordered, and Definition List Tags
Html Lists are very easy to make in either an ordered, unordered, or defined state to make an unordered list you use the following code.
<ul> <li>item one</li> <li>item two</li> </ul> to make and ordered list you use: <ol> <li>item number one</li> <li>item number two</li> </ol> to make a definition list you use: <dl> <dt>This is a sentence</dt> <dd>this defines the given sentence </dd> </dl> |

Forms, Radio Buttons and Checkboxes
An HTML form is an area the contains form elements these elements allow a user to enter information about themselves via checkboxes, radio buttons and text boxes.
A form is layed out using the <form></form> tags like in the example below: <form> Textbox data here: <input type = "text" name="name"/> <input type = "radio" name = "button"/> Radio button data here <input type = "checkbox" name = "box"/> checkbox data here </form> |
